Fancy charcuterie board? Not on this boat. We’re throwing the good stuff in a snacklebox and hitting the water. It’s portable, passable, endlessly customizable, and pairs exceptionally well with sunshine, questionable decisions, and a cold drink.
A snacklebox is basically what happens when a tackle box and a charcuterie board have a very lake-loving baby. Grab a food-safe divided snacklebox (from Amazon, obviously) and fill each compartment with something salty, sweet, cheesy, crunchy, or meaty. The compartments keep everything separated, the lid keeps it contained, and the whole thing can go straight into the boat cooler.
What to pack:
There are no real measurements here. This is a fill-it-until-it-looks-good situation.
- Nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios, etc)
- String cheese
- Pretzels
- Sturdy crackers
- cubes of firmer cheese
- Red Swedish Fish or other candy
- Licorice
- Meat sticks cut into bite size pieces
- Carrot sticks
- Grapes or dried fruit
Fill up all the boxes, cover and load in your cooler! Cheers!
